🌿 Green Run in the Latin Quarter of Paris

Would you ever imagine being possible a short trail (6 km long) in the historic centre of Paris? This circuit combines two features we love for our RunRun tours: nature and history. You'll get to know beautiful gardens, as well as monuments and stories dating back to the Middle Age, and even to the time of the Roman Empire!
This tour is ideal for small groups of families and friends willing to spend a good time together and to breath some fresh air in urban Paris. We'll stroll past several green spaces throughout the historic Latin Quarter. The Latin Quarter holds some of the oldest monuments of Paris, including the only two remaining from the time of the Roman Empire. After our relaxed jog, it'll be lunchtime! Along the way, we'll show you some of our favorite places, where you'll have the chance to get back after the tour to hang out there or to buy some delicious food. This is the grand finale we planned (it's entirely optional): a picnic in the famous (and chic) Luxembourg Garden!
STARTING POINT AND FINISHING LINE
The starting point is the Saint-Michel square, between the Fountain and the entry to the metro station (exit #3 “Fontaine Saint-Michel). The finishing line is the Luxembourg Garden, at around 900 meters away from Saint-Michel.
Your running guide will lead you on a 1 ½ hour jog (depending on your pace) passing by the Cité Palace, the Notre-Dame cathedral, the oldest tree in Paris, the Shakespeare & Co. bookstore, Jardin des Plantes, Arènes de Lutèce, the Big Mosk of Paris, Panthéon, the Cluny Museum of the Middle Age, Sorbonne University, and much more! The tour will stop at the Luxembourg garden (just a few meters away from Saint-Michel), where you can have a picnic (optional).
