Tour Description
If your hotel, apartment, company site or congress center is located close to the running route, we will pick you up there. Otherwise, our meeting point will be Saint-Michel square, just in front of Saint-Michel fountain.
Subway stations: Cité - Saint-Michel - Châtelet
Train (RER) stations: Saint Michel - Châtelet
From there, we will take the line 10 of the subway to the station Boulogne-Pont de Saint-Cloud. Our running tour begins at the homonym bridge. We will cross it in order to get into the Domaine National de Saint-Cloud, a 460-hectare park classified as a historic monument since November 9th, 1994.
It is included in this tour: bottles of water, your running guide's services, digital photos.
While staying in the woods, we will reach directly the Park of the Versailles Castle, located about 12 km away from Paris.
Before entering the park, we will visit a local farmers' market, very lively during Sunday mornings! We will buy there some fresh and organically produced supplies (not included in the price of the running tour) for our picnic in the heart of Marie Antoinette's village.
We will make our well-deserved pause by the Grand Canal, built between 1667 and 1680. Having as background one of the most stunning castles in the world, you can choose between renting a boat to paddle along the 1.6 km of the canal or simply lengthening on the lawn and enjoying the day. Either way, you will enjoy a relaxing and detox day away from the city noise and pollution.
This running tour is somewhat challenging due to the slopes and false flats in the first half of the way. Most of the path is on asphalt, but there are parts of pebbles and a short moment of true trail between Marnes la Coquette and Versailles. However, it still remains accessible to most people with a certain fitness level. Our goal will be to relax and enjoy nature and the good company, not to break speed records. We will follow an easy pace.

It is not included in this tour:
- transport tickets to the meeting point
- the purchase of supplies for the picnic in Versailles
- the Versailles-Paris train ticket (3.55 €). After the tour, your guide will give you instructions on how to buy the ticket on the spot at the train station in Versailles (no worries, it is easy!). Paris is reachable from Versailles (and vice versa) in about 30 minutes by train. Trains depart approximately every 15 minutes
- entrances to monuments, museums and castles located on the route and in the destinations visited
