✨ Run the Lights of Paris
∾ 6-10 km / 4-6.2 m
Paris reveals itself in all its splendor at night! In this experience, we’re going to jog along a 6-10 km (4-6 m) route passing by illuminated streets, bridges and monuments that make Paris deserve the title of City of Lights.
Notice that from late spring and summertime, it's not night yet until almost 10.00 p.m.! So instead of jogging the illuminated streets, you'll be able instead to enjoy the festive atmosphere of pop-up bars, picnics and barbecues in the streets and along the docks. Just relax and pick your favorite place seen during the tour to come back for a drink of a meal after your run! We'll be glad to help you out with lots of suggestions among our prefered places to go during those "sunshine nights" in Paris!
The starting point of the tour will be Saint-Michel square, in the very heart of Paris. From there, your running guide will lead you on a 10 km (6 m) round tour, at your own pace, past some shiny landmarks of Paris, such as Paris City Hall, the Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre Museum, the Concorde square, the Champs-Elysées avenue, the Eiffel tower, and much more!
STARTING POINT AND FINISHING LINE
Your running guide will be waiting for you at the Saint-Michel square, between the Saint-Michel fountain and the entry to the metro station. If you're arriving there by metro (line 4, and RER B and C), just take exit number 3, called "Fontaine Saint-Michel".
If you’re taking the 10 km /6 m route, the starting and finishing lines will be the same: the Saint-Michel square. For the ones running half the route, the finishing line will be Trocadero square.
In around 2 hours (depending on the distance chosen and your running pace) you’ll be able to see and learn about the main landmarks of Paris, such as the Notre-Dame cathedral, Paris City Hall, Conciergerie, Pont Neuf, Louvre Museum, Tuileries Garden, Vendôme square, Opera Garnier, Concorde square, Champs-Elysées avenue, Bridge Alexander III, Hôtel des Invalides, Eiffel Tower, and much more!
